This quilt pattern will create a modern-style quilt with alternating red, orange, and green rectangles.

Materials:

– 200 rectangles of Red, Orange, and Green 100% cotton fabric, each measuring 7″ x 9″
– 1 yard of Red 100% cotton fabric for the border
– Batting and backing

Instructions:

1. Cut 200 rectangles from the three colors of cotton fabric, each measuring 7″ x 9″
2. To make the quilt blocks, sew the rectangles together in pairs, alternating the colors, to form 8 rows of 25 blocks.

3. Sew the blocks together to form 8 rows of 25 pairs.

4. Sew the rows together to form the quilt top.

5. Cut 1 yard of red cotton fabric into four 4″ strips. Sew the four strips together to make one long strip.

6. Sew this 4″ border of red cotton to the quilt top, with the raw edges of the border facing the raw edges of the quilt top.
