Materials:

Batik fabrics in shades of light blue, white and dark blue

Instructions:

1. Cut all the fabric pieces for the quilt top.

A. From the light blue fabric, cut 64 – 10” squares.

B. From the white fabric, cut 64 – 10” squares.

C. From the dark blue fabric, cut 64 – 10” squares.

2. Sew the blocks together, using a ¼” seam allowance.

A. To make the 8 rows of 8 blocks in alternating dark blue and light blue, sew together the following sets of blocks:

i. 8 dark blue blocks + 8 light blue blocks

ii. 8 light blue blocks + 8 dark blue blocks

iii. 8 dark blue blocks + 8 light blue blocks

iv. 8 light blue blocks + 8 dark blue blocks

v. 8 dark blue blocks + 8 light blue blocks
