Materials

* 1 1/4 yard of red cotton fabric
* 1 1/4 yard of yellow cotton fabric
* 1 1/4 yard of black cotton fabric
* 1 1/4 yard of white cotton fabric
* Thread

Finished Size

The finished quilt size will measure 6′ x 10′.

Cutting Instructions

From the red fabric, cut:
* Nine 24″ squares

From the yellow fabric, cut:
* Nine 24″ squares

From the black fabric, cut:
* Nine 24″ squares

From the white fabric, cut:
* Nine 24″ squares
* Six 5″ x 60″ strips
* Six 5″ x 72″ strips

Piecing Instructions

Step 1: Arrange the 24″ squares in a circular pattern as shown in the diagram. The red fabric should be in the center with the alternating yellow, black, and white fabric around it.

Step 2: Sew the pieces together into blocks. Be sure to press seams open.
