Instructions:

1. Cut fabric into 8″ squares. From the Cardinal fabric, cut 36 squares and from the White fabric, cut 36 squares.

2. Lay out the squares in a 9 x 9 grid pattern, alternating the colors.

3. Sew the blocks together into rows. Use a 1/4″ seam allowance.

4. Sew the rows together to form a quilt top. Use a 1/4″ seam allowance.

5. Cut a piece of batting to measure 76″ x 76″.

6. Layer the batting and quilt top.

7. Quilt the layers together.

8. Cut a 1/2″ wide border of White fabric and sew it around the quilt.

9. Trim the edges to neaten.

10. Bind the quilt with White fabric.
