Instructions For This Pattern:

This quilt pattern is a king-size quilt composed of 12 blocks measuring 12″x12″ each. The blocks are made of cotton fabric in colors of brown, red, orange, yellow, and green and feature images of desert plants. The quilt will be framed with a ½” brown border, followed by a 1″ red border, and then a 2″ yellow border. Each row is separated by a 1″ orange border. The pattern is symmetrical and will repeat across the quilt.

To begin, cut twelve 12″x12″ blocks out of the cotton fabric using the colors of brown, red, orange, yellow, and green. On each block, draw and cut out an image of one of the desert plants.
