This 2′ x 4′ Fall Leaves quilt pattern uses batiks in colors of brown, red, yellow and orange. Cut seven hexagon blocks, each measuring 4″ across the flat sides. Arrange four hexagons in the center of the quilt in an alternating pattern of brown, yellow, red and orange. Place the remaining three hexagons in the corners of the quilt, with two red and one orange hexagon.

Sew the blocks together using a ¼” seam allowance. Add a ¾” brown border around the quilt, measuring 22” across the top and bottom, and 24” across the sides. Follow this with a 2” orange border, measuring 24” across the top and bottom and 26” across the sides. Finally, finish the quilt with a 4” brown border, measuring 32” across the top and bottom, and 34” across the sides.
