A patriotic Quilt Pattern

Instructions For This Pattern:

This quilt pattern is composed of 16 inch blocks quilted as you go. The fabric used is 100% cotton in two blue colorways. The blocks will be composed of 2.5 inch strips in the two blue colorways and stars to accent. The stars will be made of leftover fabric strips and will be placed in the center of each quilt block, symmetrically and organized.

Fabric Requirements:

• 10 yards of each blue colorway (20 yards total)

• Scraps of leftover fabric strips

Tools Needed:

• Rotary cutting mat

• Quilting ruler

• Sewing machine

Instructions:

1. Cut out the fabric strips. Cut 10 strips of each blue colorway, each 2.5 inches wide and the length of the width of the fabric (WOF).

2. Sew the strips together. Sew the strips into pairs, alternating the colorways, and press the seams open. Sew the pairs together to create 4 patch blocks, pressing the seams open.
