Twin State Shapes Quilt Pattern
This quilt pattern is a great way to show off your favorite state shapes! The quilt blocks measure 10″x 10″ each, and are arranged in an alternating pattern of 5×5 blocks. The quilt blocks feature a variety of state shapes or a mix of state shapes and other motifs. Be sure to use symmetrical arrangements for the quilt blocks to create a visually appealing pattern.
Materials Needed
• Batiks fabric in colors of your choice
• ¾ yard of coordinating fabric for sashing strips
• ¾ yard of coordinating fabric for binding
• 3 yards of backing fabric
• Batting
• Rotary cutter
• Quilting ruler
• Self-healing cutting mat
• Sewing machine
Instructions
1. Cut the Batiks fabric into 10” x 10” squares for the quilt blocks.
2. Cut the coordinating fabric for the sashing strips into 2” x Width of Fabric (WOF) strips.
3. Cut the coordinating fabric for the binding into 2.5” x WOF strips.
