Instructions For This Pattern:

Creating a quilt using batiks in the colors of pink, yellow, green, and blue is a fun and rewarding project. The quilt will measure 86” x 102” when finished and will be composed of 6 blocks by 7 blocks, totaling 42 blocks.

Each block will be composed of four pieces of fabric in the following measurements: 8”x 8”, 4”x 8”, 8”x 4”, and 4”x 4”. It is important to use the same colors for all blocks but to alternate the arrangement in each block. For example, use light pink, yellow, green and blue in one block and then in the next block use light pink, blue, green and yellow. The result will be a symmetrical quilt pattern with alternating block colors.

To begin, gather all of the necessary fabrics in the specified colors. Cut the pieces for each block from the fabric. To make one block, start by laying out the 8” x 8” piece of fabric, and then place the 4” x 8” piece next to it. Place the 8” x 4” piece next to the other two pieces, and
