Christmas Quilt Pattern by Joy Brant

A Christmas Quilt Pattern

Instructions For This Pattern:

The quilt pattern includes 7 red, 7 green, and 7 white 5” squares. To make the quilt top, the first step is to sew a white 5” square to each red and green 5” square to create half-square triangles. Once the triangles are created, they should be assembled into a chevron pattern to make a 3’x5’ quilt top. To finish the quilt top, sew a red 3” square to each corner of the quilt top.

Next, sew green and white 5” squares together to make 14 5”x5” blocks. Sew these blocks to the sides of the quilt. To complete the quilt top, sew a white 2” border around the quilt top, followed by a red 3” border, and a green 5” border.

The finished quilt should measure 3’x5’. The quilt will have 7 half-square triangles in a chevron pattern, four red 3” squares in the corners, fourteen 5”x5” blocks, a white 2” border, a red 3” border, and a green 5” border
