Quilt Pattern: Bear Claw
Materials:
• 54″ x 54″ cotton fabric, divided into dark green and cream
• 16 4″ x 4″ brown fabric squares
• 16 4″ x 4″ navy fabric squares
• 16 4″ x 4″ cream fabric squares
• Batting
• Quilting thread
Instructions:

1. Cut the 54″ x 54″ cotton fabric into twelve 9″ blocks, alternating between dark green and cream.

2. Cut the remaining fabric into 4″ x 4″ squares: 16 brown, 16 navy, and 16 cream.

3. Sew the 4″ squares into 4″ x 8″ rectangles (8 brown, 8 navy, 8 cream).

4. Sew the rectangles and 9″ blocks into rows of alternating dark green, cream, brown, and navy blocks.

5. Sew the rows together to create a 54″ x 54″ quilt top.

6. Sew the quilt top, batting, and backing together.
