A Irish chain Quilt Pattern

Instructions For This Pattern:

Quilt Pattern:

This quilt pattern is designed around a 9″ center block of green batiks. The total quilt size is 90″ wide by 110″ long.

To begin, choose 9” square of green batiks for the center block.

Next, choose 8” squares of aqua batiks for the first border. Sew these together in pairs to make 4 8” blocks.

Repeat the process with 7” squares of white batiks, 6” squares of green batiks, and 5” squares of aqua batiks. Create 12 blocks with each size of fabric.

Sew the blocks together in a circular pattern starting with the 8” aqua batiks border, then the 7” white batiks border, then the 6” green batiks border, and finally the 5” aqua batiks border.

To create the quilt top, sew the 9” center block to the center of the 8” aqua batiks border. Then sew the 7” white batiks border around the center block, followed by the 6” green batiks
