Instructions For This Pattern:
Creating a king-sized quilt using geometric blocks of batiks, prints, and solids in the colors black, grey, white and red is a beautiful and unique way to show off your quilting skills. To get started, you will need to make a total of 36 blocks measuring 12″x12″.
Lay out the blocks in a 6×6 formation with each row containing six blocks. Alternating in color, arrange the blocks in an “X” formation, with each block offset from the one beside it. The two middle rows should be 3 blocks each of black, grey, white, and red. The remaining two rows should be a mix of the four colors.
Once the blocks have been arranged, you will need to add a 4″ border around the quilt with black fabric. This will add a nice finishing touch to the quilt and make it look complete.
