Modern triangles Quilt Pattern by Isabelle Selak

A Modern triangles Quilt Pattern

Instructions For This Pattern:

Cut one raspberry fabric square: 4 ½” x 4 ½”
Cut one gray square: 4 ½” x 4 ½”
Cut one navy blue square: 4 ½” x 4 ½”
Cut one gold square: 4 ½” x 4 ½”
Cut one salmon square: 4 ½” x 4 ½”

Organize each triangle into two sets of five: Each set will have one raspberry triangle, one gray triangle, one navy blue triangle, one gold triangle, and one salmon triangle.

Sew the triangles in each set together to form five improv triangle blocks. Each block should measure 4 ½” x 8 ½”.

Arrange the five blocks together in a diamond pattern and sew them together. The resulting diamond pattern should measure 14” x 14”.

Repeat this step four times to create four diamond patterns.

Sew the four diamond patterns together to form the finished quilt top. Measure the quilt top and trim it to 5’ x 7’.

Add batting and backing fabric, quilt, and bind.
