Instructions:

1. Cut 25 blocks (12” x 12”) in the desired fabric colors and patterns.

2. Cut 4” squares from the red, blue, and white fabrics.

3. Cut 5” squares from the red, blue, and white fabrics.

4. Cut 8” squares from the same fabrics.

5. Create the stars by sewing two 4” squares together, adding a quarter inch seam allowance. Press flat and trim the resulting square to 8”.

6. Sew the two squares together again, this time sewing across the diagonal. Press the resulting triangle and trim to 8”.
